Aikido Tenshindo Wellington is a non-profit organisation which provides Aikido training to men and women of all backgrounds, ages and experience. Established in 1984, we have been affiliated with Aikido Shinryukan and New Zealand Aikikai through the teachings of chief instructor Nobuo Takase Shihan (7th Dan).
Takase Shihan has led the national organisation for over 40 years in New Zealand. With his guidance, we strive to develop and promote Aikido. Students learn in a friendly environment.
New students are always welcome to watch training sessions, and are invited to join the training.
