Monday 20th December is the last training day for 2010.
All classes start back again on Monday 3rd January 2011, after a 2 week break.
The national Aikido Shinruykan gasshuku (weekend seminar) is scheduled for 4-6 March 2011. As with previous years, we have exceptional guest instructors visiting New Zealand: Seijuro Masuda-Shihan (8th Dan) and Takeshi Yamashima-Shihan (7th Dan).
When booking your flights/accommodation, make sure you note the change of city. To commemorate Aikido Shinryukan Christchurch’s 20th Anniversary, this year’s gasshuku will be held in Christchurch.

Wow, what an amazing experience!
I was happy to see so many of our club members face the stress and challenge of a grading seminar, and turn those nerves into good demonstrations of aikido. Some brave souls even dared to smile their way through the whole thing! 🙂
Despite my own nerves, and with generous support from Connie, we have a large set of images now available via Picasa. Should be open for everyone to see, so let me know if there are any issues.
Takase-Shihan (7th Dan) will be visiting Wellington for the weekend of 6-7 November 2010. Registration and training will start at 9am Saturday. Sensei will arrive at 10am.
Saturday | 9am to 4pm
Sunday | 9:30am to 4pm
Fees | Seminar – $70 for weekend or $40 per day
